Two students at Outwood Academy Portland, Gagandip K and Kaceylou H in Year 9 participated in the Worksop 5km Fun Run on the 27th October 2019.

They wanted to do it to raise as much money as they could for Teenage Cancer Trust and to help support an ex-student of ours battling her fight with cancer.

They raised over £100 together, and have shown nothing but dedication and commitment to helping the charity and Lulu B. Well done girls. We are so proud of you and what you have achieved.

Millie W in Year 10 also decided she wanted to help raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Millie made the brave decision to have 12 inches of her hair cut off to raise money for the charity and on Saturday 23rd November 2019 she had her hair restyled.

This was a very brave and honourable decision to make as Millie has always had very long hair.

Millie raised just over £300 for the charity.

Well done Millie!
