Transition 2025 - Welcome to our new Year 7 students

The attached letter gives full information for parents, carers and students who will be joining Outwood Academy Portland in September 2025 as our new Year 7 cohort - welcome!

Here are a few key dates for the summer holidays and the first week of term:

  • Year 7 Uniform Collection Day - Monday 28 July 2025 (in the main hall, via the bridge from the Sparken Hill car park)

  • Year 7 Uniform Exchange Days - Friday 1 and Monday 4 August 2025 (in the main hall, via the bridge from the Sparken Hill car park)

Please see the allocated time slots below.


  • First day of school: Wednesday 3rd September 2025. 

Please arrive no earlier than 7.55am and no later than 8:15am - school photos will be taken on this day too.
